90-day operator hunt · 247 alumni

The Hunt.
Ninety days from cold to compounding.

Every operator runs the same hunt. Same rituals, same council reviews, same public ledger. Different niche, different weapon, identical discipline.

Four phases of the hunt

Scout. Forge. Ignite. Compound.

I
Day 1–14

The Scout

Kill: Niche locked, demand proven
  • Demand audit across 6 marketplaces (Etsy, Gumroad, Redbubble, AppSumo, IH, Reddit).
  • Keyword traplines: 200–600 long-tail intents per niche.
  • Competitor autopsy: pricing, refund rate, review themes.
  • Three positioning angles, council vote on the strongest.
II
Day 15–35

The Forge

Kill: Store/SaaS live, payments hot
  • Brand carved: name, totem, palette, type pair, voice.
  • Storefront or SaaS shell built and deployed.
  • Stripe / Etsy / Gumroad wired. First test order taken.
  • Analytics, dashboards, ledger sync — all online before launch.
III
Day 36–68

The Ignition

Kill: First revenue captured
  • Launch volleys: Product Hunt, niche subreddits, IH, partner lists.
  • Ad attack: 3 hooks × 3 angles × 3 creatives, 7-day kill rule.
  • SEO trapline goes live. Internal links wired.
  • Email smoke signals fired: welcome, abandon, win-back.
IV
Day 69–90

The Compound

Kill: Repeatable monthly kill
  • Cohort math: LTV, payback, true-net MRR.
  • Kill the bad weapons. Double the working ones.
  • Operator hands off ops to clan automation hearth.
  • Council audit. Public ledger entry. Trophy posted.

Code of the hunt

Four laws. No exceptions.

Law 01

Show, don't tell.

Numbers. Screenshots. Loom walks. Stories without receipts get respectfully ignored.

Law 02

Burn fast, learn faster.

A weapon that can't show signal in 21 days gets retired. We do not nurse losers.

Law 03

No private kills.

If your weapon works, the playbook goes into the clan vault within 14 days. The whole tribe levels.

Law 04

Respect the council.

Operators audit each other. Hard questions are encouraged. Personal attacks are exiled.

Questions from the trail

Before you draw your bow.

What if I have a day job?+

Most operators start with a day job. The hunt is engineered around 6–10 hrs/week. Council fires are evenings UTC, recorded if you miss.

What if my niche fails the scout?+

We kill it and pick the second-strongest angle from the audit. Niche selection is council-reviewed, never solo.

What if I miss D90?+

Hunters get one free 30-day extension. Council reviews progress and assigns a forge partner for the stretch.

Do you take equity?+

Never. Flat monthly fee. Your store, your SaaS, your domain, your Stripe — always.

Can I run two weapons?+

Not in your first hunt. After D90, Chieftains run up to three weapons in parallel.

Apply for the next hunt

Next hunt convenes first Monday.

12 seats. Council reviews every application. No résumés — just your weapon idea and 200 words on why.
